In 1943, a small crew of Australian and British raiders led a strike into Japanese-held Singapore. Armed with explosives, canoes and an outrageous plan, they pull off the most successful covert raid in history.

THE WORLD
Invasion, savagery & fear.
The year is 1943. The world tears apart under the savagery of global conflict, but for Australia, the war has become terrifyingly intimate.
The Tiger's Revenge combines the cultural depth of Shōgun, the battlefield immediacy of Saving Private Ryan and the close-quarters intensity of Gangs of London. The action is fast, physical and visceral: small boats crossing hostile seas, men moving through darkness with murderous intent, violence that arrives explosively and without warning.
THE CHARACTERS
Two worlds. One fight.
ORIGIN STORY
Z Special Unit
Before the SAS became a national icon, there was Z Special Unit: a secret wartime force built for missions no conventional army could attempt.
Formed in the darkest days of the Pacific War, its sailors, soldiers and intelligence operatives pioneered covert insertion, sabotage, reconnaissance and survival deep behind enemy lines, helping shape the doctrine and culture of Australia’s commandos and later the SAS. Operation Jaywick was their defining early success: fourteen men, a commandeered fishing boat and a raid on Singapore Harbour that struck at the heart of the Japanese occupation. More than a military legend, it is an essential Australian story of courage, ingenuity and a new partnership with the peoples of Southeast Asia.

TONE & STYLE

COMPS
A proven market.
A story only this series can tell.
The Tiger’s Revenge crosses British, Southeast Asian and Australian worlds in a way few war stories can. At its centre is Operation Jaywick: a rare, unmitigated Allied success that helped forge Australia’s commandos and the SAS tradition, yet has never received its defining screen treatment. The result is a propulsive ensemble thriller with the grit and scale of premium war cinema, told through an Australian and Southeast Asian lens built to travel across all three markets.
