PREMIUM 8-PART SERIES
The Tiger’s Revenge

Fourteen commandos. One fishing boat. A hell of a way to pick a fight.

In 1943, a small crew of Australian and British raiders led a strike into Japanese-held Singapore. Armed with explosives, canoes and an outrageous plan, they pull off the most successful covert raid in history.

Led by mission commander Ivan Lyon, a team of highly trained Allied operatives journey from Exmouth to Japanese-held Singapore harbour in the most dangerous and audacious covert raid of World War II. When the ‘Fortress of Singapore’ fell in February 1943, Lyon vowed to use his knowledge of the surrounding islands to one day return and exact revenge. On a chance encounter with Australian master mariner Bill Reynolds, they conceived a plan to use a fishing boat to stealthily enter Japanese-held waters - 2,000 miles behind enemy lines - and deploy fold-up canoes to strike at the heart of the enemy. It was codenamed Operation Jaywick.

THE WORLD
Invasion, savagery & fear.

The year is 1943. The world splinters under the savagery of global conflict, but for Australia, the war has become terrifyingly intimate.

It combines the cultural depth of Shōgun, the battlefield immediacy of Saving Private Ryan and the close-quarters intensity of Gangs of London. The action is fast, physical and frighteningly real: small boats crossing hostile seas, men moving through darkness with explosives strapped to their bodies, violence that arrives without warning and always leaves a consequence.

TONE & STYLE
Descent into darkness.

The Tiger’s Revenge is a visceral, character-driven war thriller: cinematic in scale, intimate in emotion and propelled by an impossible mission.

COMPS
A proven market.
A story only this series can tell.

The Tiger’s Revenge crosses British, Southeast Asian and Australian worlds in a way few war stories can. At its centre is Operation Jaywick: a rare, unmitigated Allied success that helped forge Australia’s commandos and the SAS tradition, yet has never received its defining screen treatment. The result is a propulsive ensemble thriller with the grit and scale of premium war cinema, told through an Australian and Southeast Asian lens built to travel across all three markets.
